Task 4

I’d like to compare and contrast these two pictures.
Give a brief description of the photos (action, location) The first photo shows people who are looking at the pictures hanging on the wall. I think the photo was taken in a museum or an art gallery. One man in the picture is standing with his back to us and there are three other people sitting on a bench. They all have headphones. I suppose they are listening to an audio excursion with the description of what they can see in the museum. The second photo was also taken in a museum. The photo shows a man walking around the museum and looking at the pictures on the walls.
Say what the pictures have in common Both pictures were taken in museums or art galleries. In both photos people are looking at the pictures on the walls and they seem to be concentrated on what they are doing.
Say in what way the pictures are different The main difference between the photos is the style of art people are looking at – in the first picture this is modern or pop art, while in the second picture this is classical more traditional style. Another important difference is that there is a group of four people in the first photo while there is only one person in the second photo. Compared to the second picture, which was taken in summer, the first picture was taken either in autumn or winter.
Say which museum presented in the pictures you’d prefer to visit and Explain why I would like to visit the museum presented in the first photo because I really like modern art and pop art in particular. I try to use every opportunity to visit modern art galleries.
